We’re Trusted By
Zoho does not sell a single product called Zoho ERP. What businesses mean by a Zoho ERP system is a connected set of Zoho applications sharing one data layer, so a sales order updates stock, accounts and reporting in one movement. That architecture is why a Zoho ERP rollout is a configuration and integration project rather than a software install, and why two companies on the same subscription can end up with very different systems.
We have seen the same three failures repeatedly. A business buys Zoho One, assumes it is now running an ERP, and discovers six weeks later that nothing is connected. Master data goes across uncleaned, so every report is wrong and nobody trusts the system. Or the manufacturing requirement was never scoped, because standard Zoho modules do not cover bill of materials or work orders and somebody assumed they did.
The module mix is decided in discovery, not sold up front. This is the map we work from.
| Business function | Zoho application | What it handles |
|---|---|---|
| Finance and accounting | Zoho Books | Invoicing, bank reconciliation, sales tax, multi currency, multi entity consolidation, financial statements |
| Inventory and orders | Zoho Inventory | Multi warehouse stock, purchase and sales orders, barcode handling, carrier and marketplace integrations |
| Sales and customer data | Zoho CRM | Pipeline, quotes, forecasting, customer history shared with finance and inventory |
| Procurement | Zoho Inventory and Books | Vendor records, purchase approval chains, bills, landed cost tracking |
| Manufacturing and production | Zoho Creator custom modules | Bill of materials, work orders, production scheduling, shop floor capture |
| Reporting | Zoho Analytics | Cross module dashboards, blended finance and sales views, board reporting |
| Automation | Zoho Flow and Deluge | Approval routing, cross app triggers, syncs with systems outside Zoho |
| Licensing | Zoho One | One per user subscription carrying the full suite, usually cheaper than picking apps individually past a certain module count |
Most of the risk sits in the first two phases. Skipping process discovery is the single most common reason a rollout stalls after go live.
A focused finance and inventory deployment for a single entity commonly runs in weeks. Multi entity, multi currency or manufacturing scope with custom production modules extends that considerably. The three variables that move the date most are the state of the existing data, the number of integrations, and how fast your team can sign off process decisions.
Very few businesses put everything inside Zoho, and they should not have to. The integrations we build most often are payment gateways and bank feeds into Zoho Books, shipping carriers and marketplaces into Zoho Inventory, an existing warehouse or POS system, payroll, and reporting out to a warehouse or BI tool. Where a system has a usable API we integrate directly; where it does not, we schedule file based syncs with validation and failure alerting rather than pretending a real time link exists.
What carries over depends on the source system, and being honest about it up front prevents a bad surprise at go live.
| Moving from | What carries across cleanly | What needs a decision |
|---|---|---|
| QuickBooks or Xero | Chart of accounts, customers, vendors, open invoices and bills, opening balances | How many years of closed history to migrate versus archive |
| Spreadsheets | Item master, customers, vendors, current stock counts | Deduplication and a consistent item coding scheme, which has to be agreed before load |
| Another ERP | Masters, open transactions, opening stock and balances | Whether custom fields and workflows are rebuilt as they were or redesigned |
| Salesforce or another CRM | Accounts, contacts, open opportunities, activity history | Whether CRM stays where it is and integrates, or moves into Zoho CRM |
Our Zoho migration services team handles the data side of this, including mapping, validation and a reconciliation report you can check before cutover.
There are two separate cost lines and they behave differently. The Zoho subscription is published and predictable, priced per user per month. The implementation cost is the variable one, and it is driven by scope rather than company size.
We scope and quote after discovery rather than publishing a headline price, because a number quoted before anyone has looked at your data is a number that changes later.
The first close cycle in a new system is where problems surface. Our handover includes a defined support window covering user questions, report changes, permission fixes and the small configuration changes that always follow real use. After that, businesses either move to a monthly retainer or come back per change request. Both are fine; what we do not do is disappear at go live and call it delivered.
Recommending Zoho for every situation would not be honest, and it is far cheaper to establish fit before an implementation than after one.
If the current setup has outgrown small business tooling entirely, our enterprise software development team covers the alternative path. For the wider Zoho platform work outside ERP, see Zoho development services and Zoho integration with third party apps.
Chart of accounts, tax configuration, bank feeds, multi currency and multi entity consolidation, built so month end close is a report rather than a reconciliation project.
Multi warehouse stock, reorder points, purchase and sales order flows, barcode handling and carrier integrations, with allocation rules agreed per channel.
Pipeline, quotes and forecasting sharing one customer record with Books and Inventory, so sales can see credit position and stock without asking.
Bill of materials, work orders, production scheduling, inspection screens and anything else the standard modules do not carry, built to your process.
Cross module dashboards blending finance, sales and stock, plus the board and lender reports you currently rebuild by hand every month.
Approval chains, cross app triggers and scheduled routines in Zoho Flow and Deluge, so exceptions get routed instead of sitting in an inbox.
Chart of accounts, item master, vendors, customers, opening stock and opening balances mapped, deduplicated, validated and reconciled before cutover.
Payment gateways, bank feeds, shipping carriers, marketplaces, POS, payroll and BI tools connected by API where one exists and by validated scheduled sync where it does not.
Role based training, written standard operating procedures and a defined support window covering the first full close cycle in the new system.
We are a certified Zoho partner and we have been implementing Zoho since 2012. Contracting, accountability and account management sit with our Irving, Texas office, and the configuration, custom Creator modules and integration work sit with our engineering team in Ahmedabad. You get a US company to hold to the contract and an engineering bench deep enough to build the parts Zoho does not cover out of the box.
Frequently Asked Questions
Zoho does not sell a product called Zoho ERP. The term describes a connected set of Zoho applications, normally Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics, sharing one data layer so finance, stock and sales stay in step. Configuring that set around a specific business is what a Zoho ERP implementation is.
For most small and mid sized businesses, yes. The subscription is affordable, the modules cover finance, inventory and procurement properly, and Zoho Creator closes the gaps. Where it struggles is deep discrete manufacturing, validated regulated environments and very high transaction volumes, and we say so during scoping rather than after.
A focused finance and inventory deployment for a single entity commonly runs in weeks. Multi entity, multi currency or manufacturing scope with custom production modules takes considerably longer. The three things that move the date are the state of your existing data, the number of integrations, and how quickly your team signs off process decisions.
Two separate lines. The Zoho subscription is published and priced per user per month, with Zoho One bundling the suite at one rate. The implementation cost depends on modules in scope, data condition, custom modules, integrations and number of entities. We quote after discovery rather than publishing a headline number, because a price given before anyone has seen your data is a price that changes.
Yes. Zoho Inventory supports multiple warehouses, transfers between them and per warehouse stock visibility. The design decisions that matter are how stock is allocated across sales channels and how returns post back to finance, and both are settled during configuration rather than left to defaults.
Yes. Businesses that want to keep Salesforce as the CRM and run finance, inventory and procurement in Zoho are a common setup, and we build the sync both ways so accounts, opportunities and invoices stay aligned. As a certified partner on both platforms we can also tell you honestly when consolidating onto one of them is the better commercial decision.
